Copy of Flood water destroys vegetable garden. Rainfall for many days causes pond to fill with water. Fighting with nature to protect the garden.

Hello everyone, It has been raining for the past few days, causing the pond in my garden to be full of water, full of ponds. And today, the soft sunlight in the morning hit the water surface from time to time. The little fish must be happy to have more water, more space to swim. Today, I had to take the boat out to move the lights in the middle of the pond to prevent water from hitting the electric wires. Today, it was a challenge to row a boat because for many days, the boat has been parked in this area. I haven't been there for many days, so it was quite difficult. I was a bit hesitant to row the boat out, but in the end, I did it. No need to worry. The surrounding area is full of water. My pets must be very happy, starting from the fish and ducks that I raise. They must be happy to play in the water.

Taking care of the garden every day is like recharging my life. I am very happy. I believe that spending time with nature will help me feel calmer and happier. Everything we do gives us something to observe. It is delicate and I like it because everything always teaches us and gives us answers. I really like learning about farming and gardening. Every day is not the same. I believe that.

This picture is my vegetable garden. I had just planted the seedlings when a flash flood engulfed my newly planted vegetable garden. What a pity! After several days of continuous heavy rain, the water level rose so fast that it flooded the vegetable plots next to the water. Every plant was submerged. The sight of their structure really shocked me. I felt sorry for the painstaking planting I had done a few days ago.

The water rose very quickly, so I had to move the solar panels out of the water. I used a model car to help set up the solar panels. I pushed the model car out of the water and onto land under a bamboo tree, and walked around observing the oil palm trees. I was a little worried about the water because I was afraid that it would flood.

When walking and observing in the area, I saw that the bamboo shoots had sprouted quite long. It was time to cut them. So I went back to prepare the cutting equipment, which was a knife and a container to put the bamboo shoots in. There weren't many bamboo shoots at this time because I kept the trunk, so the sprouting slowed down. The shoots that did grow had to be cut in order to be used. Fresh bamboo shoots that were just cut were peeled, cleaned, and pickled. This is a very good way to preserve food. They can be stored for a long time and eaten all year round.

While cutting the bamboo shoots, I also trimmed the bamboo. While doing this, trimming the bamboo is not easy. It requires both physical strength and caution because the bamboo has sharp thorns and many branches. It must be done with caution.

I have cut and decorated the bamboo trees. I use the bamboo leaves to make fertilizer, to cover the base of trees, to decorate flowers and fruit trees. As for the trunk, I use it to make a mop for planting trees. As for the small branches, I place them at the edge of the fish pond so that the snails that I raise can cling and rest on the bamboo. I feel very proud. Gardening is a test of patience, strength, and perseverance. It's fun and challenging. Today, there's nothing more to do. I have to say goodbye for now. See you in the next post.
